Tom is a commercial litigator, with experience in a variety of practice areas, including healthcare, securities, real estate, employment, and white-collar criminal defense and investigations. His practice has focused on litigating complex business disputes, False Claims Act and civil RICO claims, and assisting companies in performing internal investigations and responding to inquiries by state and federal regulators.
Tom graduated in the top 5% of his class at Cornell Law School, where he received his J.D. magna cum laude. After beginning his career at Simpson Thatcher, Tom clerked for Justice Anne Patterson of the New Jersey Supreme Court and Judge Kevin McNulty of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Tom’s pro bono advocacy has focused on assisting immigrants through Catholic Charities and other immigration services. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.
