Milan S. Patel

Milan Patel maintains a broad litigation practice, with experience spanning the life science, manufacturing, real estate, medical device, and computer science sectors.  Milan’s pro bono practice is focused on immigration matters, including advocacy for asylum seekers under the Violence Against Women Act. Prior to joining Fishkin Lucks, Milan was an associate at the New York office of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP.

Milan earned his B.A., with honors, from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law, where he competed in the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court competition and served as a teaching assistant in patent law. Milan was also an NCAA fencer and performed clinical and wet lab neuroscience research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
