Risk Management

Our lawyers are trusted business advisors and partners to the Firm’s clients. Thus, the Firm is often called upon to advise and counsel clients in their business planning, including with respect to product development, marketing, employment, contract and warranty issues. Our clients recognize the value of risk management and that, whether it concerns a prospective distribution agreement, the formation of a joint venture or other business enterprise, or the development or marketing of a product, identifying areas of potential legal exposure in advance so that they may be avoided or at least mitigated, is good business. As litigators and trial lawyers who are most often brought into matters after disputes arise, our lawyers are uniquely qualified to counsel clients on how to avoid disputes and how to minimize their exposure in the event a dispute arises. Our work in this area includes identifying risks, developing strategies to avoid or mitigate them and, in many instances, evaluating the insurance products available to our clients.
